This heavy gauge handcrafted power cord is specially designed to run between your ceiling mounted projector and floor mounted power line conditioner, such as the PS Audio P600 type power regenerators.
Audiophile Quality Parts.
Finally an AC mains power cord with audiophile grade connectors on both ends. This is our New 2002 model with super heavy duty WATTaGATE IEC female connector and Hubbell 8215C Hospital Grade male plug. The bare ends of the individual copper wires are treated with ProGold before being secured and shrink sealed into these maximum quality connectors.
Six Toroid EMI & RFI Filters.
These high power cords are triple filtered at both ends from DC to 1MHz with proprietary toroidal type filters that have extra high resistance to saturation by heavy current loads. There are 3 toroids at each end of the cord for a total of 6 filters. We use extra filters on the Model #566 because of it's longer length. Since these toroidal filters are non-inline, they don't choke off any of the necessary current to your power supply. The filters are at both ends of the cord to filter in both directions. This will filter unwanted EMI & RFI from your power company lines from getting into the component. It will also eliminate the noises generated by the component, especially digital sources such as CD & DVD, from feeding back through the AC line to your other equipment.
The 15amp Hubbell & WATTaGATE plugs are UL & CSA approved. The wires are UL, CSA, & MSHA approved to 300 volts. The black outer braid is flame retardant and makes these huge cords easier to handle while protecting them from abrasion. These cords are highly flexible and can be connected to lighter weight components and easily snaked around obstacles.

Strain Relief Shrink - Very flexible and flame retardant. Meets MIL Spec MIL-DTL-23053/5 Class 1 & Class 3 for low temp flex @ -67F & heat shock @ +482F without cracking, fluid resistance, and corrosion. MIL-R-46846, Type 5, and UL224 125C, 600V.
Main Structural Shrink - Semi-flexible and flame retardant. Meets MIL Spec MIL-DTL-23053. Meets ASTM D2671 for low temp flex @ -40F & heat shock @ +392F without cracking.
Cable - UL, CSA, and MSHA Approved. Also has excellent resistance to oil & moisture; good tensile strength, elongation & aging characteristics; high flexibility; excellent abrasion resistance; water resistant. High-purity copper conductors meet ASTM B-174.
